URBAN PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

We cover how to shoot street scenes safely and respectfully, use of available light and conditions as well as framing and compositional techniques to help you achieve photographs that stand out from the crowd, besides you will learn the best way to approach and photograph people in the street. As well as how to take photos of friends and family so they don’t look like a typical tourist shot.
For those of you that wish to improve or brush up on their camera skills, we also teach how to use the controls and settings of your camera. Bring whatever camera you have, even if it is only the one on your phone.  We will go over shooting in different light conditions and how to use your flash effectively. As well as composition and story-telling.

BLUE HOUR AND NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR IN AMSTERDAM

If you would like to learn how to take incredible night photographs of urban life and architecture, then this is the workshop for you.  Our Night Photography Workshop will take you to Amsterdam’s most beautiful and iconic scenes. We will teach you how to capture outstanding night photographs. Photographs that you can be proud of. Besides you will not only get to capture amazing photos of our city. But you’ll also learn the ins and outs of long exposure photography.

If you are new to night photography we promise that you will get-to-grips with it in 20-30 minutes. We talk about easy to master tips on how to achieve professional looking night photography and explore different kinds of long exposures. Enjoy finding reflections and exploring perspectives in your night photography, as well as learning how to use your lenses to create unique perspectives. Our absolute favourite time to photograph the city is at night! No matter the weather, the images always look spectacular! For this workshop, you will need a camera that can be used in Shutter Priority or Manual mode and a tripod.

Leaving nothing to chance, our photography tours are ideal for those just starting, right through to the most experienced photographers. As a beginner, we teach you camera skills and composition. Experienced shooters will be taken to the very best photo spots, the iconic as well as the less well-known locations.
